Empowering you with compassionate, evidence-based, trauma-informed support for your wellness journey
Contact MeI'm a licensed independent social worker with supervision designation who supports adults in navigating life's challenges and living life more authentically.
I work with individuals facing life transitions, anxiety, depression, caregiver stress (professional and family), parenting challenges, and chronic illness and pain. I hold a Master's degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a concentration in Special Education from the University of Virginia.
With 20+ years of experience, I've had the privilege of working with adults, adolescents, and children in private practice, community mental health services, schools, and caregiver support groups. I have passionately served as an author, faculty member, and mental health advocate with the American Academy of Pediatrics. I'm also a wife, mom, daughter, friend, and caregiver who believes deeply in lifelong learning, the interconnection of mind, body, and spirit, and the healing power of safe, supportive relationships.
"The only way out is through…"
And the best way through is together.
Whether you're navigating a life transition, caregiving stressors, the weight of past trauma, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself or others, you do not need to go through it alone.
Through individual, online therapy sessions, we'll work to broaden your awareness, strengthen your inner resources, and gently unwind the habits that no longer serve you, helping you navigate life with more clarity, calm, and vitality.
I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing:
